Terminal City Riders Logo

Terminal City Riders is a place to find out about social bike rides and events in Vancouver, BC.  Our mission is to encourage folks of all sorts to come together and enjoy Vancouver on two wheels.

What's a social ride you ask? We're all about rides that don't leave people behind, where the focus is on meeting people and enjoying each other's company rather than competing, and where you don't need neon reflective protective clothing to participate (though you're welcome to if that's your style!). Most rides feature stops to enjoy the view and are focused on getting people together to have fun.

We would LOVE if you would join the site and post your own rides or other bikey events!

I was excited to make it out to the Steveston and Beyond ride this year!  It has been one of my favourite rides going right back to when it started though I've had to miss a few here and there for family reasons - my records seem to show that our first Steveston and Beyond ride was on the Vancruiser…

We once again tackled the in-progress Arbutus Greenway last night to see how construction is progressing.  We last tried it out about 2 1/2 weeks ago; quite a bit of progress has been made since then! This trip only involved a subset of the route - it was decently dark by the time we reached the pa…

A few years ago we started a Facebook page for folks who have had their bikes stolen; the idea was to provide a space where people could try and deal with bike theft at the community level.  See a deal on Craigslist that's a little too good to be true? Check on stolenbike604 first! The last thing yo…

Growing up on the West side of Vancouver back in the '80s and '90s the trains along the Arbutus corridor were a part of every day life.  Back then a little switcher loco hauled a few grain cars back and forth between the Marpole sorting yard and the Molson brewery down on Burrard street.  Tiny littl…
